Christmas at the Chester Inn Museum

The holiday season has taken the Chester Inn Museum by storm!  The dining room and parlor have been decorated for a proper Victorian Christmas.  They are beautiful, and the perfect place for a festive, family photo!  Downstairs, the Cabinet of Curiosities has been transformed into the Cabinet of Comparisons.  Come and see a snapshot of what Christmas morning might have looked like during the late 1800s and early 1900s.  Take a sheet, and see if you can guess what some of the items are, or name their modern day equivalents.  Take a look through the stereoscope, cutting edge technology of the Victorian era, and make sure you decorate your own Victorian inspired Christmas card to share with your family.  The Museum is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  The Museum will be closing for the holiday season after online casino 5:00 on Sunday, December 22nd!
