Duncan House Undergoing Repairs
The Duncan House, which houses the offices of the Heritage Alliance, is currently undergoing several repairs that have impacted visitation to the house. We encourage anyone wishing to visit the Duncan House to first call to ensure that staff are available. In some instances, we may ask to meet you outside of the office until the repairs are completed.
With construction starting in the 1850s, the Duncan House was added to in the 1870s and again in the 1890s. Operated as a house museum for many years, the Jonesborough Civic Trust and then the Heritage Alliance began using the house in the 1990s. These repairs are just another step in our continued stewardship of this historic property.
We thank you for your patience.
