Register Now for Progresssive Dinner 2008

The hustle and bustle of the holiday season always starts a few months earlier around the Heritage Alliance office, as our staff and volunteers ready for the approaching Progressive Dinner in December.  This year’s event, which will be held December 6 and 7th, promises to celebrate the tradition and spirit of years’ past while infusing new ideas and creating new memories for attendees.

Progressive Dinner Coordinator Carolyn Tomko is working diligently to create the warm and welcoming setting for this year’s attendees that many have enjoyed for decades.  This year’s Progressive Dinner will again take place in some of Jonesborough’s most beautiful historic structures.

The evening will begin at the AmericInn, where diners will be greeted and disembark for the various courses of the dinner.  The Sabin House, a prime example of victory over demolition, will serve as this year’s toast house.  Diners will then proceed to the Deadrick/Williams House to enjoy the soup course for the evening.  The Parson’s Table, formerly a Christian Church, will again house our exquisite main course.  Febuary Hill, current home to the Anders Family, will serve as the last stop for the evening and host the dessert course.

As patrons partake in an evening of delicious food and beautiful surroundings, the sounds of the season will also fill their ears and hearts, with live music hosted at each of the stops along the Progressive Dinner tour.

There’s still a chance to ensure your spot in this year’s event.  Tickets are on sale now at the Heritage Alliance office for $75.00/ person.  View the online invitation letter by clicking here.  Reservations can be made by calling 423-753-9580 or downloading the printable registration form.
