The Salvage Warehouse is open for the 2022 season!
“All things edible, all things Appalachian!” That is the motto of this year’s “Taste of Tennessee” festival, taking place on Saturday, June 18th in downtown Jonesborough. Taste of Tennessee is a day-long celebration of Appalachian food and foodways, highlighting the history and culture surrounding the region’s cuisine.
Available at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, these tours depart from the Chester Inn Museum. Costumed guides will discuss the history of the town, its people, and the lives they built as you stroll down Main Street.

The Heritage Alliance's riotously fun trivia night is back on Friday, June 24th at a new location! Join us at the Olde Towne Pancake House in Jonesborough on Friday, June 24th at 7:00 pm for general history-based trivia questions, friendly competition, and a ton of fun! The restaurant will open at 6:00 pm that evening with a limited dinner menu for trivia participants.
