Perhaps one of our least known resources for historic property owners is the Architectural Salvage Warehouse. The warehouse serves as a headquarters for the Heritage Alliance collection of salvaged building materials from historic structures that have been donated throughout the years to the organization. The building contains a variety of "spare parts" that can be used by property owners in the restoration of their buildings and as a donation space for unused historic structure components.
To make an appointment to visit the warehouse or to discuss donating materials to the warehouse, please contact Justin Sanders, Historic Preservation Specialist at (423) 753-9580. Warehouse appointments are generally made between the hours of 9am-5 pm, Monday Through Friday. However, special accommodations may be made.
