You can step back into history by taking an Emancipation Journey. Enjoy an encounter with the Embree House Historic Farm during which you will relive its rich history. Your personally guided tour will bring the past to the present revealing why the 65 acres of rolling woodland and farmland has become sacred ground. You will journey with prehistoric man who first roamed this land through the eras of the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. See the slave quarters reportedly used for the Underground Railroad and the 1850 railroad which triggered the Civil War battle of Telford Depot and Limestone Station that started on the farm. Learn how the Seviers, Embrees, Wassoms, Kykers and current proprietors have contributed to the history.

On this tour, you will visit two, historic homes, both of which are on the Federal Historic Register, built during two different centuries. Travel the Christmas tree maze to visit the manger at the Milagros Storytelling Palace. The symbols of the flag and the cross are found throughout this historic farm. Our hope is you will be touched spiritually and patriotically as you continue your Emancipation Journey.
