History Trivia Night is Back!

The Heritage Alliance’s riotously fun trivia night returns this summer with two in-person dates!

Join us at the Jonesborough Visitors Center on Friday, May 31st and Friday, June 28th at 7:00 pm for general history-based trivia questions, friendly competition, and a ton of fun!

Not a “history buff?” Don’t worry! Trivia questions cover a wide range of topics and categories and include something for everyone. Previous topics have included Odd Jobs, Pop Culture, Food & Drink, Sports, and more!

Teams (of up to six people) can register up until the evening of the event, which will start at 7:00 PM and last until around 9:00 pm. We request that teams check in with the hosts prior to the event. Joe Spiker of the Heritage Alliance will host the event, tallying points and administering prizes to the winners. The event is family-friendly and open to all ages. Cost is $7 per person, although additional donations are appreciated.

Heritage Alliance Trivia Night Gets Spooky with the McKinney Center

The Scare-itage Alliance is teaming up with the McSpooky Center to put a haunting spin on History Trivia Night. Join us on September 30th for a frighteningly fun Halloween Trivia contest with questions to test your knowledge of all things ghostly and historical! This is the perfect way to kick off the spooky Halloween season.

 

The festivities will take place on Saturday, September 30th at 7:00 pm at the McKinney Center with general history-based trivia questions, friendly competition, a costume contest, and a ton of fun! Not a “history buff?” Don’t worry! These questions cover a wide range of topics and categories and include something for everyone. We will have Halloween related categories including urban legends, ghost stories, local haints, and more! Main Street Café will also be on hand to sell a frightening assortment of beers.

 

It’s only $8.00 per person to play! Tickets are available online at Jonesborough.com/tickets. Solo play is allowed. Teams are encouraged, but the person limit per team is 8 people. Please enter your team’s name in the comments when purchasing your tickets if you know it. Heritage Alliance and McKinney Center staff will host the event, tallying points and administering prizes to the winners. The event is family-friendly and open to all ages. The costume contest will occur during intermission. Dress up and try to win a prize!

History Trivia Nights Are Back!

The Heritage Alliance’s riotously fun history trivia nights are back this summer on May 26th, June 16th, and July 14th at the McKinney Center.

Join us on those Friday evenings at 7:00 pm for some summer fun. Not a “history buff?” Don’t worry! Trivia questions cover a wide range of topics and categories (music, literature, pop culture) and include something for everyone.

Teams (of up to eight people) can register up until the evening of the event, which kicks off at 7:00 pm and lasts approximately two hours. You can sign your team up for trivia at Heritageall.org. The link to sign up for the event is at the top of the page. The cost to play is only $5.00 per person. Every team member must pay to play, but your money goes to a great cause. All of the proceeds assist with the educational programs of the Heritage Alliance. Joe Spiker and Anne Mason with the Heritage Alliance will host the event, tallying points and administering prizes to the top three teams. The event is family-friendly and open to all ages.

History Trivia Night Comes to the Langston Centre for Black History Month

The Heritage Alliance’s riotously fun history trivia night is back on Friday, February 3rd at the Langston Centre.

 

Join us at the Langston Centre at 7:00 pm for a special, Black History Month edition of the friendly and fun competition. Not a “history buff?” Don’t worry! Trivia questions cover a wide range of topics and categories and include something for everyone. This edition is a partnership between the Heritage Alliance, Langston Centre, and Black American Studies Program at ETSU and is part of a month long series of programs to celebrate Black History Month.

 

Teams (of up to eight people) can register up until the evening of the event, which will kick off at 7:00 pm and last approximately two hours.
